How to Use the Library

How do I check out a book? How do I use the library website? How do I get started? This guide will help you answer those questions and more with short videos and quick links.

Using the website

The first video gives an overview of using the Library website (because the Library is more than just a building); the second shows you how to sync Google Scholar with Library resources, to make those searches better.

Finding books

Use MulvaSearch to locate print books, ebooks, textbooks, and even books from other libraries. Use the place hold feature (explained in the below video) to make picking up books quick and easy.

New to the Dewey Decimal system? Print library books are organized on bookshelves by call number order, starting on the 2nd floor and leading up to the 3rd floor. We are more than happy to help you find a book! Stop by the information desk to check out books or if you have questions.
