The Hermeneia commentary series offers authoritative interpretation of the earliest texts of the biblical books and other literature closely related to the Bible.

 

Sacra Pagina: New Testament Commentary

Sacra Pagina presents modern expositions of all the books of the New Testament. The volumes present introductory information and close exposition, with each author adopting a specific methodology while maintaining a focus on the issues raised by the compositions themselves.

 

Anchor Yale Bible Commentaries

The Anchor Yale Bible Commentaries is a prestigious commentary series representing Protestant, Catholic, and Jewish scholars from around the world. With book-by-book translation and exegesis of the Hebrew Bible, the New Testament, and the Apocrypha, this vast commentary series makes available all the significant historical and linguistic knowledge which bears on the interpretation of the Bible.

ATLA Religion Database w/ ATLASerials

ATLA covers the research literature of religion, many international journals Topics include: Biblical studies, world religions, Church history, and religious perspectives on social issues.

ATLA Historical Monographs Collection: Series 1

This ATLA subset contains theological e-books from the 13th century through the 1893 World Parliament of Religions. Included are many volumes in Aramaic, Arabic, Greek, Hebrew and other languages besides English, documenting the recovery of languages used during the biblical era.

ATLA Historical Monographs Collection: Series 2

This ATLA subset contains E-books published from 1894 through 1923, presenting a comprehensive picture of religion in America at the turn of the century.
