How to Use InterLibrary Loan

InterLibrary loan is a service that allows you to borrow books, book chapters, or journal articles from libraries worldwide that the Mulva Library does not own.

Search Library Catalog
Use this link to search the library catalog for books or articles of interest.
Login to your ILL account
Once you've confirmed the item is not available, login to ILL with your SNC username (6 letter) and password with this link.
Search Worldcat
Worldcat is the worldwide library catalog. You can use Worldcat to find the item you want and provide additional detail to your ILL request.

Worldcat results will also give you an idea of how soon your item will be available. For example, if it's in the state, you will probably have the item within the week. If the item is out of state, or out of the country, then it may take a little longer to fulfill your request.
